Any fun Christmas crafts for kids?

I need some crafts for my kids for Christmas something cheap but fun for them

Paint small styrafoam balls (used school projects) from a hobby store and with some tempura paints. Let them paint the balls, with hands or brush and decorate with glitter while paint is wet. Then get a needle and thread. Thread the needle and one by one drive the needle through the center of ball to make a string of all the balls and decorate on tree or wherever you want to put it.

Cut snowflakes from thick cardstock paper and glitter them. Get an cloth stocking from a craft store ($3.00 ea or so) and markers, fast dry glue, puff balls, and stickers for them to decorate their own stockings. (for 4 kids it will cost about $30-$40.

Buy construction paper and fold 7 pieces in half. Staple or glue the stack so you have a 14 page book. Cover page they can put pictures of Christmas things like lights, trees, santa, elves, presents, or snow. Whatever! The back of first page is for you to put ‘by: joe (kids name) and date done. The next page is 1 (including front and back of cover page it is technically 3), the back of 1 is page 2, and so on till the end at page 12 with . (12 half pages inside covered by outside paper 7th outside page).

The 13th page (inside of last page) will say ‘The End’ or ‘Merry Christmas and have a hand print of kiss mark or picture of kid. The very back outside cover will be for coloring or a Santa list or a favorite food list or whatever. The inside pages, front and back pages1-12 (3-16)will be their own version of the 12 days of Christmas. ‘The first day of Christmas mommy gave to me some candy with some ice cream’ and they can draw or decorate and you write the words for them if they can’t.

What are good crafts for preschooler kids?

I babysit two kids, ages 3 and 5. They like crafts but I’m running out of ideas!! I have made tambourines and music shakers, printed off colouring pages, traced & coloured leaves with crayons, let them illustrate small stories, ironed leaves in wax paper (I did the ironing; don’t worry), finger painted and cut out potato stamps to use with paint. What are good crafts to do with them? Halloween crafts would be great but any craft will do. Thanks!

Bats. Paint toilet paper rolls black and glue wings on them and make a scary face. You can hang them with string.

Spiders. Paper machet small balloons. Use laundry starch and strips of news paper. After they dry you can paint them black and stick pipe cleaners in them for legs.

Ghost. Dip cheese cloth into laundry starch and gently ring out the extra. Drape it over a 2 liter soda bottle and let dry. Paint or glue felt for a face. Hang with string.

Easy Kids Christmas Crafts?

I am off for the winter and I am looking for some easy kids Christmas crafts. My daughter is three. Thanks!

You could look up easy ornament on the internet. For example, get a toilet paper roll wrap tin foil around it make wings with the tin foil, and get her a Styrofoam ball let her play with markers or glitter and put it together as an angel (actually made this when I was 3 and my parents still put it out). And don’t forget the ever popular paper snowflakes.

Bake cookies and cut them out around her hand and then she can decorate them. This is going to be a HUGE Christmas for you because really this will be the first one she really gets whats going on. Have fun
