They could always make flowers the tissue paper kind with pipe cleaners and they could also make pillows : take white pillow cases have them paint one side first then the other one once it dries + put cardboard in it so when the paint one side it will not go through use paint for cloth . Then get pillow stuffing or stuffing for blankets. and let them stuff the pillows. Then if you have a sewing machine bring it and sew the ends! and they have Christmas pillows paint with red and green! References : made pillows + flowers in 1st grade was a ton of fun!
Once again I would check out google and type in Christmas Crafts. There are over like a million different websites that each give you a ton of ideas. Two of my favorites are http://www.enchantedlearning.com and http://www.allfreecrafts.com/christmas/index.shtml. They both have really neat ideas. Give them a try! If all else fails look at all the different crafts online! I am sure you can find some thing! Good luck and hope this helps! References :
Make little tri-fold ornaments. Take a simple shape and trace it on construction paper, cut them out and fold down half in the middle. Glue them back-to-back to a tri-fold shape. Using a threaded-needle, attach a thread on top and tie off. I’ve made little bears and stars this way, and embellished the bears with wiggle-eyes and markers and little bows. I used brown paper bags for the small bears, but craft or construction paper will work too.
You can also make pretty window decorations using a paper coffee filter and dripping watercolor paints on them, one color at a time. The colors bleed out and make all sorts of beautiful designs, not an expensive craft either.
Paper snowflakes are always fun too. They look prettier with a colored paper backing glued to them, that helps bring out the design. References :
